    Data-Processing Act


    In conformity with Article 34 of the Data-Processing Act dated January 6, 1978, you have a right of access, modification, rectification and deletion for all personal data.

    Therefore each person who fills in a form with information concerning this party and which information is inexact, incomplete, no longer valid or of which the collection, use, communication or preservation is banned, may demand that said information be corrected, completed, clarified, updated or deleted.

    • Preliminary verification of the person’s profile compatibility with DERMSCAN Group requirements,
    • Filing in order to build up a testing volunteer data base,
    • Transmission of advertisements or offers to participate in new tests,
    • Statistical studies...

    This data shall not be transmitted to any third party, with or without consideration.


    Protection of private life


    All information provided upon inscription remains confidential.

    The DERMSCAN Group has a data-processing system intended to manage its file of volunteers participating in biomedical research in strict respect of medical secrecy.

    Save for your opposition, some personal information collected during your time at the DERMSCAN Group may be computerised for internal use exclusively.

    In conformity with medical ethics and Data-Processing Act provisions, the DERMSCAN Group Doctor is available to provide you with all information concerning your state of health.

    Any Doctor you designate may also be informed of your full medical file.

    For non-medical information, you benefit from a right of access and rectification which you may exercise by applying to DERMSCAN Group management represented by Ms Frédérique GIRARD. Your request shall be addressed in writing.

    You may only benefit from your right of access by enclosing identification. If your request is conform, the DERMSCAN Group will reply within 48 hours.


    Protection of persons participating in Biomedical Research


    If you fulfil the conditions which enable your participation in a study, you must previously consent to this freely, knowledgeably and expressly.

    For non-emancipated minors, consent from holders of parental authority must be obtained.

    Before each test, DERMSCAN Group qualified personnel may inform you of:
    • The purpose of the research, its methodology and duration.
    • The expected benefits, foreseeable constraints and risks, including in the event of research stoppage before term.
    • The right to withdraw the study at any time.
    • Your possible exclusion from the test in the event of disrespect of the protocol accepted at the beginning.
    • The duration of your exclusion from all other research further to a study void of direct individual benefit. This shall be mentioned in a National File in conformity with legal provisions.

    This data shall not be transmitted to any third party, with or without consideration.


    Secure Voluntary Space


    For improved protection of your health data and in application of
    article 34 of Law no. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 regarding Data Protection,
    the form used to collect your information and the entire transfer
    procedure is kept secure by means of 128-bit SSL encryption (Secure
    Socket Layer). This enables the authentication, confidentiality and
    integrity of the data exchanged to be verified.'
