We provide in vitro toxicity studies on cell models as well as in vivo efficacy and tolerance trials for all products impacting skin and its appendages (hair, nails, mucous membranes). Dermscan Group is therefore dedicated to the evaluation of cosmetics, hygiene products, dietary supplements with beauty claims, cosmetic textiles and electrical or mechanical devices dedicated to care of the body, etc.

With laboratories in France, Poland, Tunisia and Thailand, as well as collaborations with centers located in Mauritius, India, and South Africa, Dermscan Group has the capacity to evaluate products on all types of skin and under various environmental conditions, lifestyles, cosmetic habits, etc.

We can comply with protocols requiring subjects of all ages and phototypes thanks to our diversified and regularly updated panel composed of:

  • 10 000 subjects in France
  • 8000 subjects in Poland
  • 1000 subjects in Tunisia
  • 2000 subjects in Thailand
  • 2000 subjects in Mauritius

To meet all types of needs and constantly adapt to our customers’ requirements and current trends, we propose “made-to-measure” protocols:

  • Product’s efficacy can be tested either in a “before/after” protocol or compared with a placebo or a benchmark.

Depending on the product’s category, these later comparisons can be made either intra-individually or on parallel groups.

Our statistician team is here to help you define the better solution and analysis.

  • Product’s performances can be assessed either on subject’s physiology or psychology.

Combined approaches can be performed, as described in the table below:
