The pollution story: Really a new trend?

This is the question Dr. Anne Sirvent, Dermscan R&D and Scientific Communication Manager, Ph.D. in Immunology, will answer in a workshop at in-cosmetics London on April 4th 2017 at 9:00.

From 11:20 to 12:00, Dr. Anne Sirvent and Anne Charpentier Skinobs Manager will speak more specifically about:

How to measure « anti-pollution » claims in vivo

From the several characteristics of what constitutes pollution; and the way consumers are subject to this environment, they will identify all the cosmetics claims that can be linked to this new product performance. From a general point of view, they will review all the in vivo (human) efficacy methods which can be proposed nowadays to support this claim. Whether it is evaluating the barrier function, the film-forming, the anti-oxidant, the protection, the anti-free radicals, the anti-inflammatory or the anti-redness… effects, there are various biometrological ways to measure these anti-pollution activities of cosmetics.
